Training, Mentoring, Consulting and Followup
SYSS will provide onsite training, mentoring, consulting and followup services for individuals or groups. This is because training is tailored to individual organisations strategy and processes and affects how portfolios, programs and projects are managed.
Once the training is completed, the organisation will have the capability to integrate, align and reconcile management data correctly through the organisations management achitecture.
Training is provided to Senior Managers, Delivery Managers, Operations Managers, Administration staff. Architects and Team Members.
A quotation will be provided upon request.
Note:
- An initial assessment period is required,
- The assessment and training is collaborative.
- Appropriately skilled staff can pick this process up and start to see results within 1-2 days training.
- Once initial training has occurred, follow up training and mentoring can occur at regularly increasing intervals.
- Surprisingly, the staff who seem to pick up and use the process most effectively are people who apply Systems Thinking. Systems Thinking is the basis of Engineering.
A quote can be provided on request for each individual step below. Note the steps are ideally performed in the order shown, but can be done individually for self-contained units.
STEP 1. The CEO Interview.
- This interview occurs in front of a audience of direct reports.
- Duration - 1 hours in duration followed by questions - up to 30 minutes.
- It acts as a critical step from an old organisation driven by 3-Dimensional information - to a new organisation based on an Atomic Schedule.
- Prior to the interview, there will be 3 preparation meetings of around 1 hour and 8 hours of training for the CEO and Personal Assistant (PA). Additional 1-2 days training may be required for the PA depending on experience with scheduling tools.
- At the end of the Interview, the Atomic Schedule is presented to the CEO.
STEP 2. Senior/Executive Management Interview.
As for the CEO, Each member of the Management Team is interviewed in the presence of their direct reports and their reporting manager. At the end of the interview, the Atomic Schedule is presented to the Manager.
STEP 3. Operations, Service, Program, Project Management Interviews.
The Leader of each area is interviewed in the presence of their team and reporting manager. At the end of each interview the Atomic Schedule is presented to the leader.
Note - These interviews can be conducted by organisational staff trained in establishing the Atomic Schedule.
STEP 4. Atomic Schedule Training.
- Key Change Agents are identified and trained on how to establish an Atomic Schedule.
- Training course prerequisite are - a working knowledge of a scheduling tool and Project Management Certification.
- Initial Beginner Training is 1 day.
- Advanced Training is another 2 days.
- Training is conducted on the organisations premises.
